Advertising is a process of commercial to promote the goods and services in order to increase its sale. There are many different kind of advertising nowadays, such as newspaper, television, radio, magazine and internet. The advantages of advertising are indisputable. However, there are also disadvantages of the advertising.

Advertising is useful and informative by informs the consumers about the qualities and prices of goods. At this point makes purchasing easy for the consumers. Normally, consumers will search the prices of the products before shopping and they generally will try to get the cheapest product with same quality. There are many different kind of advertising nowadays, such as newspaper, television, radio, magazine and internet. The advantages of advertising are indisputable. However, there are also disadvantages of the advertising.
Advertising is useful and informative by informs the consumers about the qualities and prices of goods. At this point makes purchasing easy for the consumers. Normally, consumers will search the prices of the products before shopping and they generally will try to get the cheapest product with same quality. From here, information of an advertising let consumers identify a product and differentiate it from others. This will creates an awareness of the products and provide a basis for consumers to choose the advertised products over other products.
Secondly, advertising able to raise awareness about local, national or international important issues. This kind of advertising also can called as public service announcements, let public know about what is happen out site there. Many organization raise awareness through advertisement. For an example, General Hospital Ipoh organize a blood donation programs, and they will create a banner to raise awareness and attract more people to join the program. So, we believe that advertising is useful and informative.
However, advertising might expose the negative side. Firstly, it increases the cost of goods. The cost of advertising is included in the price and is ultimately by the consumers. This may cause certain goods to cost the consumers more than they should. Consequently, advertising also will mislead the public by giving the false information about the products. For example, an advertisement of brand XX promised the goods will be deliver within 7 working days, but at the end of the day, consumers received the goods on the 10 working days. This will let the consumers to mistrust the brand XX.
In a conclusion, no matter the advertising is on television, newspaper, radio, magazine or newspaper, advertising have been a part of our lives. Advertising can be very useful and informative, but it cans also giving false and negative information. So, the consumers should be careful while purchasing, instead of blindly following the advice of the advertising.
